Waxhaw Kaleidoscope Fest Arts & Crafts Exhibitor Application

Call for Artists & Crafters

THE EXHIBITOR APPLICATION PROCESS IS NOW CLOSED. LOOK TO JOIN US IN MAY 2020!

You can see the change in our new logo, said Lisa Hoffman, Waxhaw Events Manager. Kaleidoscope Fest has always been about the celebration of the arts from the visual arts featuring local artists, handmade crafts and the performing arts featuring musical entertainment, area dance studios, martial artists, theatre groups, and roving street performers. With Waxhaw quickly becoming a hub for foodies with restaurants that suit many different palates (French, Italian, Irish, Greek, Mexican, Asian, BBQ, pub fare), we felt it time to showcase our area restaurants and celebrate the culinary arts as well with the addition of
The Taste of Waxhaw.

Kaleidoscope Fest will quickly become a regional event drawing attendees from outside the local area. You will be part of an awesome vibe in downtown Waxhaw as the festival truly will be an event where the arts kaleid. Picture visual artists painting, throwing pottery, wood carving, and blacksmithing all along the streets. Then picture performing artists juggling in the streets, living statues, performing magicians, caricature artists, stilt walkers and more. Acoustic performers will also be positioned throughout the festival under the Oak Tree bandstands, in Art Alley, in the Beer Garden, in the Wine Cellar, and along Highway 75. All paired with great tastes of food from our area restaurants.

Our aim is to create the coolest artsy, foodie vibe downtown as we can!

We are currently looking for:

1) Artists interested in selling their work,

2) Artists interested in actively demonstrating their craft at the event, and

3) Makers of handmade crafts interested in selling their work

This is NOT a juried art show.

See the guidelines for entry to apply today!
