Welcome to the Town Clerk's Office!
The Town Clerk's Office serves as a direct link between citizens of the community and their government. We strive to keep citizens informed by communicating relevant and timely information regarding Town Meetings. The Clerk's Office provides support to the Board of Commissioners, maintains and preserves permanent records, fulfills requests for public information and provides administrative support for Waxhaw's Advisory Boards & Commissions.
Board of Commissioners Support
The Town Clerk's Office serves as Clerk to the Board of Commissioners by providing services such as issuing public notifications of meetings, preparing agendas and minutes for all meetings and maintaining a recorded history of Board actions. We also provide general administrative assistance to the Board of Commissioners including, but not limited to: scheduling meetings and training sessions.
Records Management & Public Information Requests
The Town Clerk's Office serves as custodian of the Town of Waxhaw corporate seal and all permanent records pertaining to the Town and Town Seal. An example of such records include the Town Charter, Ordinances, Resolutions, Minutes, etc.
