On Tuesday September 11, 2018, the Waxhaw Board of Commissioners conducted our regularly scheduled business meeting. It is has been 17 years since one of the worst days in American history, NINE ELEVEN. In remembrance, the meeting began with:
The Board then began the business meeting by recognizing the service anniversary of Nick Bahnweg of Waxhaw’s Information Technology Division.
During the meeting the Board received public comments and a report on the Waxhaw Parkway and the collaborative work efforts underway between the Town of Waxhaw, the Town of Mineral Springs and Union County. The Board also approved a number of zoning, ordinance and policy changes including:
The Board also proclaimed their support via proclamations for “Domestic Violence Awareness” and “Constitution Week”.
