Notice of Rescheduled Virtual Meeting

Due notice is hereby given as required by NCGS Open Meetings Law that the regular scheduled virtual meeting of the Waxhaw ABC Board, which was originally scheduled for Monday, June 21, 2021, has been rescheduled for Monday, June 28, 2021. The proposed FY2021-2022 Budget for the Waxhaw ABC Board has been presented to the ABC Board members and is available for public inspection at the Waxhaw ABC Store during normal business hours and on the town’s website, www.waxhaw.com. A Public Hearing has been scheduled for the purposes of receiving public comments pertaining to the proposed budget on Monday, June 28, 2021, at 6:00 pm. The Town of Waxhaw ABC Board remains committed to providing an open, transparent public process, even amidst the challenges we face due to the local and global health pandemic, COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
TO WATCH LIVE: Meetings will be available via Zoom, https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81839340544. All meeting participants (board members, department heads, staff liaisons, and presenters) will participate in the meeting electronically. All attendees, including the public, will be able to see and hear the meeting participants in real time. An account is not necessary to join the meeting.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: Members of the public may view this meeting through the Zoom link, as provided above, and are encouraged to do so. Citizens who wish to provide remarks for the ABC Board’s consideration related to this public hearing must complete a Public Comment Submission Form at http://forms.waxhaw.com/Forms/PublicCommentSubmissionForm. Comments submitted through this form will be provided to the ABC Board for their review prior to the virtual meeting and will be read into the record during the meeting. Public comments will be accepted for up to 24 hours after completion of the public hearing on Monday, June 28, 2021. Any additional comments received within the twenty-four (24) hour period will be forwarded to the ABC Board and will continue to be incorporated into the public record.
