TRAFFIC ALERT: The 16th Annual Gingersnap 5K will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 22 in downtown. Race packet pickup opens at 6:30 a.m. 

Residents should expect some road closures starting at 5 a.m. in the downtown area. The race route will be closed to all traffic from 7:45 a.m. to approximately 10 a.m.

Roads impacted include: N. Church St., McDonald St., N. Broad St., N. High St., Peyton Ct., Jackson Ave., W. N. Main St., and Waxhaw-Marvin Rd. Additional road connections to Waxhaw-Marvin Rd. from Downtown to Pine Oak Rd. will be closed during the race. Please see the attached road closures map.
