The Town of Waxhaw's administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

- The Recreation Barn will be closed.
- Downtown Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4.

Trash and Recycling Service
Trash and recycling service will not experience any disruptions since the holiday falls on Saturday.
A few simple steps can help keep collection routes safe and efficient for everyone:
- Keep all trash inside the cart with the lid closed. Overloaded carts will not be collected.
- Place carts with enough clearance from vehicles and obstacles to allow garbage trucks to safely maneuver.
- Avoid blocking access to carts on collection day.
