Project Details:

• Construct a center turn lane along Broome Street; and,
• Construct an eastbound left turn lane at the intersection of NC-16 & NC-75; and,
• Add sidewalk and modernize existing pedestrian facilities. 

Project Status Update:

• Jan. 2026 - Preliminary Engineering
• March 2027 - Right-of-way acquisition & Utilities relocation
• March 2028 - Construction
