 The Waxhaw Learning Center opened its doors to the public on July 1, 2026!  This renovated facility formerly housed the Waxhaw Library from 1988 until 2024, but was always owned by the Town.  The shared goal of the Waxhaw Learning Center was simple: preserve the legacy of the Waxhaw Library by ensuring that valuable community services remained accessible to residents on this side of town.

 Facility Features:

• Catering/warming kitchen used as a teaching kitchen for internal programs
• Meeting space 
• Classroom space
• Quiet study space
• Free computer lab with basic printing services

Facility Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., closed 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for lunch

Program Information

• Several senior programs, Inclusive Adult Programs, youth programs, summer camps and free workshops are held here at the Waxhaw Learning Center.
