The Town of Waxhaw hosts a wide range of events throughout the year that bring our community together and celebrate life in Waxhaw. The Parks and Recreation Events Division plans, coordinates, and executes Town-sponsored events of all sizes. The division also serves as a resource for individuals and organizations interested in hosting events within the Town limits, providing guidance on street closures, public services, and other event-related needs.

Weather & Event Safety

We look forward to welcoming the community to Town events throughout the year, but safety always comes first. In some cases, weather conditions may require an event to be delayed, relocated, or canceled. The Town of Waxhaw follows an established Weather Safety Policy to help guide these decisions and ensure the well-being of everyone involved.
