Autumn Treasures is Waxhaw’s biggest annual festival held the second weekend of October across the downtown Waxhaw area and the Downtown Park. It’s a vibrant, family-friendly street festival featuring local artisan and craft vendors, live music, delicious food (including the BBQ contest), and a family area.

Autumn Treasures is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025 in downtown Waxhaw. Please note: this year’s event is one day only.

Waxhaw’s Board of Commissioners voted to transition Autumn Treasures to a one-day event at its meeting on June 24, 2025, to help reduce event-related costs while still delivering a festive experience for attendees.

Downtown Waxhaw and the Downtown Park. East and West North Main Streets, North Church Street, McDonald Street, and Community Corner.

Handmade crafts and goods from local artisans, live music and street performances, delicious food including the bbq contest, a family area for kids to enjoy.

Public parking and shuttle information will be shared closer to the event date.

Yes! Autumn Treasures is free to attend and open to the public.

We recognize that some vendors may have questions about fees remaining the same while the festival moves to a one-day format.

The Board of Commissioners discussed the fee structure as part of this year’s budget planning, and they determined keeping the fees steady would help offset the costs of producing the event while maintaining the quality and experience our attendees and vendors expect.

We want to emphasize that Waxhaw’s vendor fees remain significantly lower than those of similar festivals held around our region during the same season. We remain committed to providing a well-attended, high-quality event that delivers strong value for our residents, vendors, and guests.
